TDX Welcome RaffleConfiguration
anti-abuse
Keep alts and brand-new accounts from farming prizes.
anti-abuse:
block-same-ip: true
min-playtime-minutes: 10| Key | Type | Default | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|
block-same-ip | boolean | true | A player on the same IP address as the newcomer is not entered into their raffle. |
min-playtime-minutes | int | 10 | Total playtime a player needs before they can enter. 0 turns the check off. |
What they stop
The obvious way to farm the raffle is to log in a new alt account and
welcome it from your main. block-same-ip stops that when both accounts
are on one connection.
min-playtime-minutes stops the opposite: brand-new accounts welcoming
each other, or a fresh alt entering someone else's raffle. Playtime is
Minecraft's own "time played" statistic for that player on this server.
Two players in one house share an IP, so a sibling cannot enter the
other's raffle. That is the trade-off of block-same-ip. Turn it off if
it matters more on your server than alt farming.
The other limits
raffle.max-open-rafflesin the raffle block caps how many raffles a wave of join bots can open.- Chat cancelled by another plugin, such as a mute, does not count. See keywords.
- Players without
tdxwelcomeraffle.enterare never entered.
Set general.debug: true to see in console why a player was turned
away.
